This is a great chance to explore the South Downs by water on the River Arun!   There's a safety briefing and instructions on how to use the kayaking equipment so that you can learn the basic techniques.  Paddle the river, and enjoy the countryside and wildlife - there are 2 itineraries to choose from.  British canoeing permits from the Environmental agency are included in this trip.  You're part of a group of between 4 to 8 people.  Paddle away!  Into the Blue list this experience.

See Sussex from the air! 

Into the Blue have a number of vintage flights you could choose from, many in the south east, and a number from Shoreham Airport.  Head up into the skies in a Tiger Moth, the RAF's trainer plane who weeded out the wheat from the chaff, enabling the RAF to select fighter pilots.
