Spitfire Experiences

The Supermarine Spitfire is one of Britain's best known aircraft.  It was designed by RJ Mitchell and it was a formidable attacking weapon in the war.   Aviation fans have dug deep and worked hard to keep the Spitfire going.  Out of over 20,000 built, around 50 airworthy examples are left today.

Many people would agree that the Spitfire epitomises the bravery of all those who fought for freedom.

And there are now opportunities to see this wonderful aircraft close up - you don't even have to leave the ground!  Into the Blue have a couple of Spitfire experiences at Biggin Hill where you can stay on terra firma!.
